Auggie Grand grew up on Long Island in New York. From an early age he developed an interest in the natural world of science! His career as an environmental planner has given him the opportunity to provide educational connections between environmental science and the classroom. During his career, he has grown a passion for native plants and pollinators. His experience and interests led to the creation of his first book Max and the Milkweed.
