During this time we express an abundant thirst for knowledge, the acquisition of and also the sharing of this knowledge.  The ASTA would like to offer you a deal too great to refuse:  a membership in one of the most active core educational organization in Arkansas.  With your membership you can be a part of the support team throughout Arkansas that will provide access to this knowledge.

Your membership will entitle you access to a web site that encourages discussion of your questions, thoughts, ideas and other appropriate knowledge can be discussed statewide with colleagues from every level (PreK-16), a quarterly magazine that brings information from teachers around the state and the idea of knowing one has support throughout the state and can point you to where the information needed maybe found.

There are projects that ASTA will support in the year 2010 that benefit the state and even some of the surrounding states for professional development and curriculum enhancement.

My Goals for 2010 are:

These are major goals and are deeply involved processes, so our work is before us in 2010. As we continue to, as teachers, strive to meet the needs of diversity throughout our various disciplines we recognize that we sometimes need help.  This is why your membership is important so you may link up with and receive the support.

ASTA will focus on internal issues that will help us to become even more effective and keep current with issues that are supported by NSTA as we continue make strides to bridge the gap of achievement.  We cut the chase and go straight to the point.

With the website we can “go green” and show our efforts to cutting the chase of the paperwork and go straight to the point, you need a membership
