***Sponsored by the Arkansas Farm Bureau and the Soybean Promotion Board*** A professional development opportunity for 7-12 science teachers to develop lessons and gain resources to help their students conceptualize the role of STEM in crop and livestock management which feed the planet. Facilitators are university personnel and agriculture-based professionals.  Topics include nitrogen fixation, vaccines, GMO’s, and the role of genetics in embryology, hormones, and animal health. Participants will receive a $300.00 stipend. All participants will receive a tool kit containing classroom materials!
